Infrastructure Over the years, the company has expanded its portfolio with the opening of a state-of-art plant with all Italian machines. We boast of huge stock of rough blocks & complete lines and machines for continues dressing, cutting, resining & polishing of Granite & Marble. We are committed to preserve the nature and natural resources. We have an efficient water treatment plant for conserving water and have planted seeds for a greener future. In year 1996 Mr. Suresh Modi founded KOHINOOR MARBLES the first modern factory of the times to produce tiles, with strong understanding of stone and sharp business acumen he made KOHINOOR a leading name for the best quality tiles of Rain Forest Green marble across the globe. Later he was joined by his sons ;
Mr. Amit Modi who added new colors and different sizes of NATURAL STONE TILES and with his keen interest in man-made stones he diversified in to SEMI PRECIOUS stone slabs and ARTIFACTS, with understanding of machines he customized on the existing plant and machinery at KOHINOOR MARBLES.
All times are not same neither any situation, the times and technology was changing and tiles sales were declining, it was the time when Mr. Sumit Modi diversified into NATURAL STONE SLAB EXPORTS and for the same established “MODI GRANI MARMO PVT LTD” a modern plant with Italian machinery ,started modestly and kept the growth pattern running. Today Sumit manages MGMPL under sieges of his Father & Brother.
